$55.00

Tinkertoy was created in 1914 by Charles H. Pajeau, a stonemason from Evanston, Illinois. Inspired by watching children play with pencils and empty spools of thread, Pajeau developed the idea for the Tinkertoy construction set. Pajeau partnered with Robert Pettit and formed the Toy Tinkers company to manufacture the product. They debuted Tinkertoy at the 1914 American Toy Fair, and its unique design immediately captured attention. Tinkertoy is a construction toy that consists of wooden spools of various sizes and wooden sticks, which fit into the holes in the spools, allowing for versatile and creative building.
