Can I see a proof of my plaque before you make it?

Yes. We always email a PDF proof for your approval before producing your patent plaque. If you would like changes, we will send revised proofs until you are completely satisfied with the design.

What is your turnaround time?

For small orders of five plaques or fewer, we normally send proofs within 1–2 business days. After you approve the proof, we typically ship the plaques within 5 business days or less.

Delivery time depends on your location and the FedEx shipping service selected.

For larger orders, please email or call us for an estimated production time. We also do our best to accommodate rush orders.

Are your plaques guaranteed?

Yes. Our plaques are 100% guaranteed.

If you are not completely satisfied with your plaque for any reason, let us know within 30 days of receipt. We will either replace the plaque or issue a complete refund, including shipping, whichever you prefer.

Do I have to order online?

No. You may order online, by phone, or by email.

If I want to order several patent plaques, do I have to complete a separate order form for each plaque?

No. You can use the Bulk Order link at the top of our order forms and attach a list of the patents you would like to order.

An Excel spreadsheet containing the patent numbers is usually sufficient. For corporate and university programs, we can also work with recurring lists submitted periodically.

How do I add our corporate logo to a plaque?

We can add a corporate or university logo to most of our patent plaque designs at no additional charge.

You can upload your logo using the upload option on the order form or email the image to us separately.

For the best reproduction quality, we recommend a vector-format logo or a high-resolution image of at least 300 dpi. Logos may be reproduced in black and white or color, depending on the plaque design.

Do I need to send you a copy of the patent?

No. For U.S. patents, we can obtain the issued patent and patent drawings electronically from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

In most cases, all we need is the patent number.

I have ordered before but do not remember which plaque I ordered. Do you keep records of past orders?

Yes. We maintain records of previous orders.

Send us an email with the name or company used for your earlier order, and we can help identify the plaque style and order information.

I want to order a Front Page style plaque but would prefer a different patent drawing. Can you change it?

Yes. If you would like us to use a different drawing from the patent, simply provide the desired figure number in the comments section of the order form.

You offer several plaque designs, but I don’t see exactly what I want. Can you modify a design?

Usually, yes.

Tell us what you would like changed, and we will determine whether the design can be modified. Many plaque layouts can be customized to accommodate different patent information, logos, drawings, wording, or other design preferences.

Can you make plaques for international patents?

Yes. IPlax produces patent plaques for patents issued by patent offices throughout the world.

Some international patent plaques can be ordered directly through our International Patent Plaques section. We also offer custom designs because the standard front page of a patent issued by some countries may not be especially attractive for display.
